This is a 1-Owner 1997 Lincoln Town Car Executive Series Sedan with only 47,520 miles on it. Pictures and word cannot describe this car. This luxury sedan was bought brand new from a very nice older couple that lives 5 miles from my office. I personally picked it up at their house on July-1st. It has been garaged, babied and serviced at our local Lincoln dealer since new. Because of health issues, they decided to sell the vehicle to me. This car has never been damaged, smoked in, abused or neglected. She told me that the rear seat has only been used a hand full of times. The exterior paint is original, shiny and looks great. There are a couple of very minor rock chips on the front bumper. There are no major scratches, only a couple of very minor ones that are not very noticeable and do not take away from the looks or value of the car. The interior is like a time capsule. The leather looks, feels and smells new. At the time of original sale, she bought a set of clear plastic floor mats to sit on top of the factory carpeted mats. All carpets, mats, headliner and dash are perfect. All the glass is perfect. All options, switches and buttons all work perfectly. It truly is like a time capsule – it looks like it did when it came off the assembly plant. This is the best example of a 2nd Generation Town Car I’ve seen in years. It is also the last year of the “Big Sedan”. It has a matching set of Toyo Spectrum Touring Radials (215/70/15) that are in fair condition. I bet they have 5,000-7,000 left in them. If I was going to keep this car, I would put a nice set of Michelins on it. As a matter of fact; the original, never been used before spare tire is a full size Michelin mounted on a factory 15-inch aluminum wheel – very cool! You get both original keys and remotes, the original driver door keyless remote door code card, the original owners manuals, the original 1997 Texas title (unless you’re going to title it in Texas), a copy of the 1-Owner CARFAX Report and the recent (June-2016) inspection report from the Lincoln dealer showing they checked out the car and replaced the battery, thermostat, coolant flush and coil pack.
