1983 Porsche 911SC for sale by 66 yr old owner. Garage kept. Excellent condition. First year of 911 convertibles. Car was repainted original color and new top at some point. Seat tweed inserts added in 2012. I purchased in June 2014 to drive while I finished my 61 356 Coupe. Just bought a Porsche Cayenne so probably should sell this toy. Ready to sell--don't need to sell--hurry and bid before my son talks me out of selling. 33+ yr PCA member. Best running, driving and starting air cooled Porsche I have ever owned of 30+ Porsches. Car is sold with no warranty. Drive it--enjoy it and watch it appreciate in value. Engine number is 64D4652. AC is all there but blows hot air. Have not attempted charging it. I added chain tensioner guards in 2014. Does not have carrera chain tensioners. Original Owner's Manual, Cab Supplement Manual, Warranty Service Manual shows sold East Hartford, Conn 08/83. Service book is dealer stamped to 6-2-88 with 48,411 miles. Blaupunkt Monterey SQR 22 radio manual. No tool kit, but have fan belt wrench. Top cover included is usable condition. Service receipts show: 8/2003 4 wheels painted, new brake hoses, 1 rear hatch strut8/2003 Rebuilt trans and rebush shifter, clutch, alternator, resurface flywheel 11/2008 oil change6/2010 DME relay8/2011 new battery, clutch slave & master cylinder, clutch hose10/2012 F/R brake pads, rebuilt calipers, brake flush, fuel/air filter. 6/2014 129,710 Had oil change and had valves adjusted--no broken head studs7/2014 129,729 New set of Sumitomo HTR 215/60/15 tires.
