1965 Mustang Coupe that runs and drives great but needs a little body work and paint. I have it priced accordingly for someone who wants a nice running early Mustang for not much money. It has the original C code 289 V8 engine, completely rebuilt, and purrs like a kitten. Brand new radiator, gas tank, aluminum fan, and new dash pad. It has the original 3 speed on the floor transmission, with new clutch. Original Hurst shifter. The car drives great, shifts good, and is quite quick for a 289 with 2 barrel carb. The interior is original. Back seat is nice. Front buckets are ripped on the bottoms only. The backs are very nice. Has nice dual exhaust and sounds great. I assume the odometer has been turned over, and now shows 46,000 miles. Mechanically everything has been rebuilt or fixed. The body is very solid but has a dent on the rear panel, and one on the lower part of the front passenger fender. It's ok the way it is for a cheap driver, but really needs some minor body work and new paint. Also, the floorboards have a couple bad spots, but nothing major. I'm selling this car as is. It is a good driver, but not a show car, but could be. Looks good under the hood. Starts every time, doesn't leak any fluids, and no engine smoke. Very few miles on the rebuild. This is a manual steering, manual brake car. I also have a complete 1966 coupe that is straight with no rust that I bought as a parts car. It has a clear title. I will sell it to the winning bidder for $500 It has complete interior, everything. The doors, fenders, and quarters are dent free and rust free. It has no engine or transmission, but was a 289 car with 3 speed just like the other one. Also the trunk is packed with good parts. I can have the Mustangs shipped to you if you need it. I have several shippers I use who are well qualified. I do not use paypal. I accept only bank to bank wire transfers, or cashiers checks from your bank.
