Car was delivered in Dallas in December of 85 and has always been in the south, it shows no rust or corrosion. I'll address the high mileage first. Obviously its been driven a bit , looks like it had 116k on it in 1997 so it was a driver in its early life and I know the PO commuted about 110 miles a day for some period of time. I purchased it from my neighbor who was leaving the country and he purchased it from a friend of mine who I have known 30 years. Despite the miles it is the original paint and aside from chip and scratch touch ups is remarkably nice and cleaned up very nicely. I see no evidence of any repairs or body work and even the front valence is damage free.I would say that the interior and carpet is about what you would expect for this mileage. Trunk and top boot area are clean and show no evidence of leakage. Headlights are nice and clear and I would say the taillights have been replaced at some point. Both seats have a split seam that was repaired, aprox 2" each, not that noticeable till you get inside and look at the seats. One major flaw is the soft top, it was for sure used and will need to be replaced. I purposely chose not to replace , not because of cost but because there are several options in material and I probably would go with a dark tan top even though the interior is black, new owner gets to choose. The weather stripping is mostly original and some of it is getting a little weary, as are some of the rubber parts under the hood, but to be expected for one that has not spent its whole life in a garage. Everything works, cruise, a/c outside temp gauge, odometer works and has so I assume that the mileage is accurate. I am sorry I do not have a bunch of service records for the car. What I do know has been done Brake calipers Brake rotors Brake Hoses Injectors and seals All FI sensors Shocks Tie Rods Plugs,wires, dist cap, air filter Fuel filter Idle control Relay Radiator Wheels dismounted, bead blasted, painted and clear coated Timing chain, the 2nd PO says he had it replaced but I do not have any documentation and the shop that maintained the car is closed and the owner has passed away. It is quiet all the time. I would put the tires at about 75-80 % , they are Toyo's, ride fine and are quiet. It is stored inside and covered and has been since I have had it.
