Up for sale here is a 1999 (late 1998 model) Nissan Pathfinder SE Model. This was a great running truck until a mechanic left the oil pan bolt loose and the engine ran without oil. The front end was done over less than 2 years ago and it has a brand new distributor. I also replaced brake lines in the rear. The truck has 4 good tires and drove straight on the highway with no rattles or shake in the wheel. The interior is in very good condition considering it's age. The exterior is pretty good also, outside some rust by the rear passenger wheel well. The truck has been lightly hit a couple times in the past and repaired. Nothing major. If I trusted mechanics I would just replace the engine and keep the truck. I has been really reliable for me over the last couple years and I hate to part with it. I priced out used engines for around 600-700 delivered and then it depends on who you bring it to when it comes to the labor. The truck starts up but I think the mechanic also broke the belt to the alternator. It was fine until I pulled it out of the shop. I am just looking to get back the money I just put into the distributor the day before the engine went. It literally has 1 mile on it. This truck can be parted out or fixed. This truck was very reliable before this nightmare scenario I got into.
