NO RESERVE! 5 DAY AUCTION, ENDS SUNDAY 06/05/2016. SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY PLEASE. HIGHEST BID WINS IT! 1966 GMC Suburban. I am the third owner, second owner had owned since 1972 and it has always been a local rig here in town. Don't let the V6 badge fool you, its a sleeper & has been updated with a sbc 350 V8 & TH350. With its nice sounding dual exhaust you will definitely know the difference. Runs and drives good just as a 1966 would. Has power steering/manual drum brakes. Original electric brake setup for towing along with tow hitch all still intact as well. It looks good from a distance but it has been 10yrs since its last repaint. Upon closer inspection you will see the rockers have minor rust/filler throughout body along with front fenders and hood/etc. which is typical on the Chevy's of this era. Luckily replacement panels can be located just about everywhere nowadays. Clear coat is peeling in some places as well. Still looks presentable & we get thumbs up everywhere we cruise it and people wanting to take pictures of it. This Suburban has been cruised just about everywhere in Washington and I have had no problems with it. 70mph on the freeway is no problem either, it just cruises! Lights, wipers & heater all work as well. The interior has not been done and is a little on the "rat rod" side but the original 60/40 split front seat is still there and functional. Back in 1995 the rear seat was removed by previous owner and I do not have. Really do not want to sell but need the garage space and don't want it to just sit outside. This rig has been so useful & fun we have done everything from weekend Home Depot runs, camping & local cruise ins on Fridays! Really hope someone gets to enjoy it as much as we have. Original Washington plates have remained on it & considered collector plates so no tabs required. Currently insured through Hagerty Collector Insurance for $12,000. ONLY BID IF YOU HAVE THE FUNDS TO PURCHASE. NO RESERVE MEANS HIGHEST BIDDER WINS. SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY PLEASE. Buyer is responsible for all Shipping/Handling costs involved. I realize it takes some time for shipping arrangements to be made & I can store truck for up to 2 Months if needed (if longer time is needed that will need to be arranged between seller/buyer). I have tried to describe the truck to the best of my knowledge. There is no warranty written or implied and truck comes in "as-is" condition. $1,500 deposit via PayPal required within 24hrs & remainder of payment must be paid in full via bank wire transfer within 3 days of auction end. You can see I have positive feedback & that includes all classic car sales. My listings are lengthy but I try to be as detailed as possible. This is no show truck by any means but a presentable driver ready for someone to enjoy. I have the right to end auction early at any time. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. Good Luck Bidding! On Jun-03-16 at 18:37:13 PDT, seller added the following information: Since I have been asked a few questions I wanted to clarify a few things: Does not smoke or burn oil. Just had fresh oil change done, new valve cover gaskets & the truck checked over last Month with receipt. Does not leak in my garage, no oil/fluids present on floor after being parked. Another question was if the radio works, Yes it does. Also YES it has Power Steering so you can easily maneuver this one. I am unaware of the gearing in the rear end but it cruises down the freeway with ease. Truly is a great/fun truck, you won't be disappointed! Please let me know if you have any other questions & I will try to answer as quickly as possible. Thank you
