So... Here we have a 1997 DR650SE. I bought this from a local guy who laid it down back in 2003 and it had been in his garage ever since. I brought it back to life and the fiancee doesn't think it's such a great idea for me to go adventure biking on weekends and has talked me into going fishing more.. In the last 2 Months - New TiresNew tubesNew batteryOil ChangeTune up with plugs etcCarb RebuiltReplaced the turn signal lights on the rear with new (When the previous owner laid it down one cracked.) It's a great riding bike. Purrs like a kitten and has lots of torque. Everything works. Does have a few little spots of minor surface rust - You can see them in the picture on the lower right edge of the tank. I've touched up some nicks and scratches on the tank. and there are other areas that show typical finish defects for a bike this age. Overall this is a very nice bike.
