1971 Volkswagen Westfalia No Reserve 5 Day Auction Pop Top Camper With Original Equipment 65 Photos Below Up for auction is a 1971 Volkswagen Westfalia This is a 5 day no reserve auction There are 65 photos below, please view all of them before placing a bid And please only bid with intent to purchase as the highest bidder will own this bus in 5 days I bought this bus from the 2nd owner, he had owned it since the early 90's, i found it sitting in a garage in beverly hills ca, the fellow told me he didnt want to sell it at the time but he did tell me to keep trying, i did, and 5 long years later i purchased it from him This westfalia is very original and super solid throughout, it holds a very nice patina style and gets lots of attention The engine was upgraded around 10 years ago by the previous owner, it was upgraded to a 1776 dual port dual carb engine that has much more power then the 1600cc these westys come with, the transmisson is its original 4 speed manual and it was rebuilt at the same time the engine was done, the bus also has factory disc brakes The bus has not been started in around 9 months due to a faulty fuel pump and a dead battery according to the original owner, it shouldnt take much to get it started he says, i personally have never tryed to start it because when i purchased it my intent was to completly restore it The interior is clean, it does have some rips on the seats here and there but none that are super bad, the pop top canvas is in so so shape, it has a few patches here and there, and should probably be replaced The undercarriage is in great shape, it is super solid, i have taken lots of photos of it I have the rear the bumper with brackets and bolts as well as an extra rear gate because the original has a dent on it, i also will include extra faucets and a few other things These patina style westfalias are getting harder and harder to find in nice solid shape, the reason i am selling this westy is because my father has gotten ill and medical bills are due I have a clean california title in my name and the bus does have current registration If you have any questions give me a call (626) 200-3715 or (626) 639-9365 Terms of bidding I am open to worldwide shipping.
