This was actually purchased by Richard Rawlings for a BIG build on the show! It was featured on season 4, episode 3 “Cool Customline”. It was also K.C.s personal driver for a while! The car was then sold to Marc Cuban and the green interior was changed to what you see today. The glovebox sports the autographs of the builders as well. The body work on this car is beautiful as one would expect with smooth contours and crisp lines. The paint that was laid out over this crisp body was done with attention to detail and the end result is incredible! All of the trim is beautiful and shines bright and true just like the bumpers. Taillights and headlights are both clear and look brand new! The glass is all CLEAR and in great condition! The grill also shines like new. This car looks good at any angle and the custom set of staggered wheels and coilovers give the 55 an incredible stance! This is by far the coolest 55 ford I have ever taken in in my life! You see the Tri Five BelAirs ALL the time, how often do you get to see a 55 ford done up? Under the hood rests a performance built 302 that sounds incredible through a custom exhaust! The engine is paired with a Tremec 5spd transmission that hits every gear with NO issues and the clutch has a nice feel to it as well. The 9in rear-end hosts 390 gears and there is also a four-link set up back there as well! This car starts, runs and drives like a dream! ZERO issues! There has also been an addition of power disc breaks that do their job and then some! This car gets a LOT of looks and it is always fun to tell the story behind it and watch people make the connection of seeing it on TV! The interior is beautiful as well with a super CLEAN job as one would expect! The seats look brand new and show NO signs of wear. The Royal Purple and White do an amazing job complementing each other and creating contrast of material! The carpet is all new and free of stains. The custom painted dash presents itself just as well as the exterior and the gauges are SUPER clear. No foggy hard to read old stuff was used in this build. The steering wheel fits well and keeps the stock look flowing through the interior well. The Tremec five speed shifter looks right at home and the addition of the Basketball shift boot is a very nice touch.
