This is Rosalie, a 1987 Ford Country Squire with just over 39,000 original miles. She has spent most of her life stored away getting only occasional, but regular, use. Her latest owner was the local family owned Ford Dealership – car enthusiasts themselves – and they’ve owned this car since sometime around 2000. This is my 4th Country Squire and it is by far the cleanest and nicest one I’ve owned. Everything on this car works, including all those things that go wrong with Squires: fuel gauge, power locks and windows, 3 way tailgate, heat, A/C, cruise control, radio, etc . . . I’m not aware of anything that isn’t working. The reason I bought this car is because I know how much more money it would cost to bring an average car up to this condition – I didn’t buy it to sell, I bought it to keep and replace my fixer uppers - but “that’s the way she goes” and I need to sell. I can't see any dings or dents on this car, the body panels and doors are tight. You can buy a cheaper Squire and then put a LOT more money into it and still not have one this nice. This car was driven mostly by the matriarch of a 3 generation Ford family owned dealership. The dealership is very reputable, not the cheapest but they have a rep told doing good work.
