1966 Ford Fairlane 500   289 4v Automatic Power Steering Air Conditioning 4 Wheel Power Disc    BrakesThis car belonged to  my father in law who recently passed away. I can try and answer what I know  about the car. He owned the car for 9 years and in that  time he made the car comfortable and reliable to drive to car shows around the  state. It was originally red from the factory  and painted gold about 7 years ago. It has a nice BC/CC paint job, but it is  not concourse quality and has a few blemishes and scratches. The motor and transmission were rebuilt 5-6 years  ago. Recently added was air conditioning and a  96 SVT Cobra Hydroboost power steering/brake booster setup as well as  4 wheel disc brakes. An FM conversion was done to the factory  AM radio by a company to retain a factory look. A trailer hitch was installed about a  year ago to haul a scooter around.
