1982 Chevy K5 Blazer 4x4 This truck runs good and there are no mechanical defects that I am aware of. I bought this truck as a hunting truck and have barely driven it. This is a nice truck and I have spent a lot of time and money restoring it. I have already put $10,000 in the truck. There are still a few more things that need to be done. I will tell you everything that I know about the truck and can remember that I have done to it. I will start with the good things about it. Anything I say is new has been done within the last 500 miles. The Good: New complete engine wiring harness professionally installed New paint job New front grill New trim New battery New parking brake cables New rear brake shoes New power steering pump New radiator New temperature gauge New tail pipes New insulated carpet Restored front seats New door interior panels New rear view mirror New gauge panel New sun visors New dash cover New Retrosound Motor 3 Radio- It is a new radio with new features but looks vintage New JL Audio 360 Watt 2 Channel Amp- JX360/2 New Alpine SPR-60C Component Speaker System with 6 3/4 Subs and 2 tweeters Changed Rear Differential Fluid Changed Manual Transmission Fluid There are no fluid drips under the truck Now the not so good -There is no heat or AC though there are vents and the control panel is present -The speedometer doesn't work. I never fixed and just used an app I downloaded on my smartphone to tell me how fast I was going -The factory clock in the dash doesn't work -The power window on the passenger side is slow and sometimes needs a little push with your hand. The driver side is strong -I never installed a headliner. It looked good enough to me not to spend the money -Tires are 38s. There are plenty of knicks and dings but they don't leak. I would say that there is 30-40% tread remaining on the front and 50-60% remaining on the rear wheels. -The mileage is incorrect as the engine has been replaced. I am not sure of the mileage on the current engine as it was in the truck when I bought it. It runs good though and doesn't feel worn out. The top is removable. It has dual exhaust. Transmission is a four in the floor with granny gear. Windshields are in good shape with no cracks. Only one small rock mark on passenger side front window.
