Vehicle Detail
" OLD SKOOLERS TAKE NOTICE" rare opportunity to own a rare MACHINE SHOP framed Honda 750. This is similar to the Amen Savior frame only a better set up that the machine shop in southern California developed for Harleys and Honda 750 engines in the late 60s & 70s. The Amen Savior rear axle was sandwiched between the springs which resulted in a lot of flex and re-alignment. The Machine Shop frame copied the spring & rear tab used on Indian motorcycles of the 50s and is still used today. It gives a really nice ride, way better and more rare than the Savior frame. Further, this bike has ORIGINAL invader wheels and you will notice in the pictures a little patina just to give it that nostalgia look along with the hot rod flat black paint, moon sticker & pinstripping. Also, notice the frame mounted "MOON" tank which was originally designed as a reserve fuel tank but the outlaw clubs used it to hide contraband in the late 60s & 70s till the cops figured it out. This bike has excellent tires, new battery & carbs rebuilt runs excellent ! It also has 4 inch over fork tubes as designed by the Machine Shop for the rack on the neck. I'm 64 and just had complete knee replacement surgery about 6 months ago and don't see myself riding all the bikes in my collection this summer so I'm thinning out the herd. Truthfully, I'm giving this bike away at my low reserve or click the buy it now button and own it this second! Again, it runs & rides great... AND YOU WILL BE THE CENTER OF ATTENTION AT BIKE NIGHT AND YOUR BAR HOPPING TRAVELS. It's stored in my heated garage until you pick it up or have it shipped which I can help with. With some research you can google Amen frames, and see old ads there of the Machine Shop frames, prices etc. Good luck....someone is going to love this rare conversation piece classic.
