Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Up for auction is our 1977 Bronco Sport “Dolly”- we have had it for about 2 years. I will give you a little back-story on it so you understand what I know about the vehicle. We purchased it from a storage unit auction- where it had been sitting inside for 7+ years. As you can see by the photos it is not a full 1977 (gas caps rather than doors) give that away quickly. It is titled as a 1977- The Storage unit owner had to go through an extensive process to get it titled, including running ads in several newspapers, contacting the last known lien holder(s) and having the VIN numbers inspected and traced by the Kansas Highway Patrol- the process took about 3 months- I have a clean Kansas title in hand, in my name, and ready to sign over to the new owner. Here are some details about the Bronco: -The engine is a (pre-1969) 289cu with long tube headers -MSD electronic ignition -Edelbrock intake and carb -K&N Filter -Power steering -Power assist brakes- Disc brakes in the front and drums in the rear (new calipers and pads in the front) -C4 Automatic transmission with B&M QuickSilver shifter- Shifts great. -Dana 20 transfer case with James Duff shifter - Ford Lock-outs -Ford 9” rear end and Dana 30 front diff. -Grant steering wheel -Super Pro Tachometer -4 inch Rough Country lift kit -33x12.50x15 Firestone Destination A/T tires- Less than 2k miles - MT Classic 10” wide aluminum wheels -New gauges -New wiring/fuse box (everything works) (Fuel gauge works- but needs a new plug on for the sending unit- Wild Horses has one for $15.00)-Dual exhaust- (sounds good) Needs replaced- someone pieced it together, but it works. To get it running I replaced the following: Starter, radiator, hoses, thermostat, water pump, fuel lines from the tanks, fuel pump, battery, valve cover gaskets, rebuilt-edelbrock carburetor, plugs, wires, cap and rotor, dropped both fuel tanks and had them cleaned. I had a Ford guy adjust the lifters and timing after I had driven it a few hundred miles and he said he thought the engine had recently been rebuilt and thought it might have a larger cam. (Don’t know for sure…but it runs great) Body/ Paint / Rust / Bondo/ Interior/ ect. -How you see it is how we bought it, (see pics on trailer) minus a lot of dust. It has a less than perfect paint job- a true ten footer (enamel/single stage) you can see sand marks here and there a few waves as you look down the side and I noticed it has some bondo behind the rear wheels on both sides and some around the gas filler holes- not much but it is there. It looks decent and still gets a lot of compliments. -I believe the door jams have been replaced with new and it looks as though they did a nice job- both doors open and close well- and have new or newer rubber. -It has the classic hood dimple/hole from someone closing the hood onto the carb bolt. -The front floor boards have had a top layer put on them- (see pics) looking at them underneath you can see a few minor rust holes but nothing major. They seem to work fine. -The bed floor and sides are in great shape besides a small rust hole by the front Fuel filler neck tunnel. (Top and bottom- see pics) -The tailgate looks like it has some bondo as well…not the prettiest work I have ever seen. It opens and closes well and sounds very solid. -The hard top is all there- it has some rust by the windshield bolt- holes but still works. The back lift gate needs a handle- it has the rods and latches.- The front bumper is stock the rear bumper is a monster off something..it can be removed but looks ok and it will pull a small trailer if needed. -The windows roll up and down- they will not go down all the way and probably need new window tracks and felt. -There are no windshield wipers or motors- (windshield holes have rubber plugs) it does have a new switch in the dash but that’s it- you can buy everything new online for about $250.- Front seats are not stock- I think they are from a Mustang II or Pinto- Seatbelts work. Rear seat is a custom job with seat belts…it works.- Looks like the pinion seal is leaking and maybe a little from the RMS. It leaves a couple little spots on the shop floor when its parked. The Bronco is great! We love it and the only reason we are selling is because I have a few too many toys. It runs well and we have probably put about 2k + miles on it since we got it. It is not a show winner but it is a great start…or make it a daily driver and have fun. Check out my feedback and bid with confidence – please don’t bid if you can’t buy it I will leave appropriate feedback. – ASK QUESTIONS PLEASE$500- deposit required- I will help with loading and shipping as needed. Reserve is low- by what I have seen on eBay and I will end the auction anytime, as needed.
