I have been the nurturing caretaker of this piece of Americana for two decades. I purchased it in 1996 as a barely running but solid musclecar originally delivered to Martinsville, VA with the dream of bringing it back to it's days of glory. It took 8 years of "a little bit at a time" restoration/restomoding to get it there with some time for me to enjoy it and show it off for a spell. She's won a few shows and has been a head turner for the past 12 years. Less than 2,000 miles on the car and drivetrain since completed restoration! Odometer reads 28,199 but I presume it's flipped. EVERYTHING has been rebuilt or replaced to factory spec or better. Welded sub-frame connectors. Rebuilt 351 Cleveland bored .20 over with Keith Black pistons, new crank, mildly overstock cam, Australian Cleveland 2V heads with quenched combustion chambers and dual valve springs, needle bearing fulcrum cast roller rockers, Edelbrock Performer intake and Jet Hot ceramic coated headers. Front disc brakes and Koni adjustable shocks. Converted to electronic ignition with MSD controller box. Rebuilt FMX 3 speed automatic transmission. Aluminum driveshaft from Denny's Driveshafts. Completely NEW interior from top to bottom. There is much more to tell so PM me with a phone number if interested for more details. I try to put 500 miles or so on it a Summer but I just don't drive it enough anymore. Too worried something will happen to it. I don't drive it in the rain. Been caught in it a time or two but generally I don't take it out if they're calling for rain. I have many original and extra parts including a fold down rear seat option, 3 spoke rim blow steering wheel and original foot pedal assembly for a standard transmission that I will throw in depending upon the offer.
