1974 Porsche 914 2.0, Chassis s/n 4742916602, Engine s/n GA 013 491. Up for auction is a running, drivable Porsche 914 project car. Recent work includes a rebuilt starter, new battery, new clutch cable, throttle cable and both park brake cables. A previous owner converted the car from fuel injection to dual Dellorto DRLA-36 carbs as well as removing most of the heating and emission control equipment. This car has aftermarket Riviera style alloy wheels with 205/60-15 tires (10/32" tread depth front and 8/32 rear). The odometer shows 99,377 miles but has been inoperable since I purchased the car, the title shows the mileage as exempt. The floors are solid in the passenger compartment but the front corners of the front trunk and the rear corners of the rear trunk have some small rust holes. The original paint appears to have been silver, the black re-spray is of poor quality with visible sand scratches and sags/runs. The drivers side jack point is rusted away and the rear deck lid has some rust bubbles under the paint below the spoiler. The battery tray is loose and the inner fender behind the battery is cracked. The front air dam, fog lights and horns are all missing. Overall the car drives well, first and second gear synchronizers are weak and the linkage could use new bushings. I have tried to show as much detail in the photos as possible, if I missed something let me know. This car is being sold as-is, I have a clear Colorado Title in my name.
