Vehicle Detail

One of a kind Chevy C10/R10 for sale. Shortbed and final year of the "Squarebody" as well as the true classic trucks. Recently installed air ride system front and back featuring 2 link c-notched rear suspension, dual Viair 444c compressors, 2600 bags all four corners, Mcgaughys lowering spindles, and Slam Specialties manifold and controller. 3/8" air line. Extra XS Power battery to supply the air ride system and all of the components including the tank are located behind the seat. Although not pretty behind the seat, everything is secure and fused/grounded properly. Welds on the c notch and pan-hard bar fabrication are perfect, and everything was sprayed with zinc (rust preventative). 283 small block Chevy motor installed 7k miles ago out of a '67 Impala. Was told by the seller of the motor that it was rebuilt close to factory spec. Runs super strong. Installed new valve covers and gaskets but I have always had a slight leakage. Common sbc issue, just a matter of getting appropriate gaskets. Does not smoke. Turbo 350 trans shifts good. Was originally a tbi, then converted to a carburated 350 prior to my ownership. The 350 was tired so I swapped in the 283. Edelbrock 4bbl with electric choke, could maybe use a rebuild in the future. With that being said, two pumps of the pedal and it'll start right up. I usually give it a Lil gas for a few seconds and let it warm up for a few minutes, as with any carburated motor. This motor got me through winter without any issues. Growls as it should and no strange knocks or ticks are evident. I will include another of the same carb with the sale, used. Air Conditioning components are present but not hooked up, heat works. Stays at or around 14 volts when running, above 60psi when first started and between 40 and 50 psi of oil pressure on the freeway, roughly 25-30psi sitting at a red light. Temp is always steady around 180 degrees. Custom 22" Solid Aluminum Smoothie wheels with 1954 Chevy Dog Dishes. 255/30/22 tires 3 are Pirelli and one is an off brand. A bit of wear on the inside of some of the tires, the off brand tire is brand new. You will be hard pressed to find these wheels anywhere, as the manufacturer no longer makes them and they were a limited run, less likely to find them with 50s dog dishes. Frame and underbody components are in excellent condition. Frame is better than some modern trucks and is part of the reason I originally purchased it. Bed was cut out to accommodate the c notch and bridge, I was going to get some larger fenders and box off the middle. Again, the air ride was just installed a few weeks ago. Dual exhausts were cut just behind the cab due to the air ride. Rust on cab corners, rockers, pillars, a small amount at the bottom edges of the wheel wells on the bedsides, and underneath driver pan, nothing that can't be mostly fixed with readily available panels from your favorite classic truck supplier. Complete Floorplan, aside from under the driver pan area, is in excellent condition. Note the condition of the cab mount and surrounding metal in the pics I've included, outstanding in my opinion. Large area of paint has peeled off the roof. It had an older re paint, nice color choice btw. Trim and badging in pretty good shape. Truck has an early '90s Suburban front end. Interior is decent, seat is OK with a few spots of wear, door panels and carpet worn and stained, but nothing too crazy. One burn hole on passenger floor from a previous owner, I do not allow smoking in the truck, and there are no strange odors besides that of a classic truck present. Drivers door pull strap missing, dash has some cracks. Power doors and windows although driver window will only roll down halfway, passenger motor does not work (comes with replacement), door lock switch only works driverside lock. The part that latches the rear sliding window is missing, the actual latch is there, but the part it hooks onto is not. Older, compliant window tint job. I give the interior a 5 on a scale from 1-10 but that is my prospective. In the pics you will see that the passenger mirror is missing but that has since been replaced. Although there are two fuel filler doors the truck has a single fuel tank. Comes complete with a A vital two way alarm installed. H3r Performance chrome fire extinguisher mounted securely over the drivers door. Finally, it is worth noting that the truck does have a rebuilt title, which it was branded 20 years ago. I pulled a comprehensive Autocheck on it and there is no accident history, an there is absolutely no evidence of an accident present. It was a southern truck beginning it's life in Alabama until it came to Ohio in 2000. In addition, although the odometer currently reads just over 60,000 miles, the true mileage is unknown. With all that said, I absolutely love this truck, and everyone else does too despite its imperfections. It is extremely reliable and has been my daily driver since I purchased it last year. Unfortunately, my job will be taking me over the road in the next few months, and I need something more modern with some interior space, otherwise it would be in my family for years to come and I would continue on my quest to make it an all out show truck. Be warned, thumbs up, stares, picture requests, and long conversations come with the truck! I have set a fair price based on my opinion of the value of the custom fabrication, work, and accessories, not to mention it's reliability, collectablity, and of course the fact that it's a shortbed. Some body and a bit of interior work, along with a few minor things here and there will make it a guaranteed Best of Show. None of its current issues affect drivability, and it can be taken to the local cruise - in or store as it currently sits. Put your twist on it as you drive. I encourage you to ask questions or set up a time to see it in person BEFORE sending an offer or hitting that buy it now button. I am as detailed as possible in my description as I don't want there to be any surprises, but only you can determine if the truck is right for you. There are NO WARRANTIES, returns or refunds once it's sold. I take my listing very seriously, and I ask that you do the same when purchasing this vehicle. Please have funds on hand and be ready to complete the sale immediately before sending an offer. Plenty of pics for your consideration, I do apologize for the orientation of some of them which I was unable to correct in the upload process. I prefer cash but I will accept a certified check which MUST completely clear and funds verified by my bank before signing the title and releasing the vehicle. I appreciate your interest.
