Vehicle Detail
Built in April of 1972. This bike was titled by the original owner on March 15, 1973. The bike is in running condition with clean carbs and a fresh set of Continentals. It is still wearing it's all of it's original Flake Sunrise Orange paint although the tank has seen better days. There is an ugly dent in the leading edge on the RH side and the master cylinder leaked fluid onto the top which has damaged the finish. It is not rusty though and could be saved. The side covers are super nice! Low miles, no oil leaks, nice and tight. Starts easily with electric starter. Nothing missing and a real nice original set of HM 341 exhaust pipes. The pipes have NO RUST holes or scrapes! (see bottom pictures) All of the chrome on the bike is the original and some areas are dull. Many of the components are lightly pitted but it is obvious this bike has been garaged and cared for. This is not some yard bike, but one that has been ridden and cared for by the original 82 year old owner. There are some rattle can touch ups on bike which are obvious upon close inspection ( I don't know why old guys do this, but it is what it is!). Even so, this bike gets a lot of attention because of it's originality. It looks good going down the road! I would call it a 5 foot "rider" or a GREAT start on a full restoration. I have the original Indiana title in hand as well as the original tool kit and owners manual. I have placed a reasonable reserve on the bike and if it is purchased with Buy it Now, will include a nice clean gas tank with the sale. I can arrange delivery if needed anywhere in the USA and will sell worldwide. I encourage all bidders to inspect the bike in person if they can. It is currently for sale in our showroom and we are open Tuesday- Friday from 10-6 and Saturday from 10-2. If you are in the market for an early Cb 750, don't delay. Most of my auctions end early with Buy it Now and many are exported. I have recently shipped bikes to the UK, Australia and China.
