Up for sale is this Beautiful 1968 fastback pro street mustang, 28000 original miles. car originally came with a 302 automatic but was replaced with a 1970 351 Cleavland 4 bolt main with less than 1000 miles on complete rebuild, gear drive, hydraulic cam, Edelbrock Torker, holly 750, headers, over $3000.00 of head work, very healthy engine and a blast to drive. this car has been babied since it was last raced in the early 80s, the car ran consistent low 12 sec quarter miles around 115 mph. underneath there is a tube frame, tubed and narrowed ford 9in with 4.88 traction loc, there is a 3 link with ladder bars and coil overs, the car was done right. every panel has been replaced, there is no bondo or rust anywhere on this car. within the past 3 years iv put in a flaming river steering box, front disc brake kit, high torque Starter, and a complete front suspension kit, there is an 8 point cage tied into the frame with high back buckets. what needs to be done yet, the fog lights and back up lights are not hooked up, the fuel gauge is not hooked up and the heater motor needs to be replaced. I have owned this car since 1979 and put well over $50000.00 into it, i have reservations about selling it. the only reason im selling it now is i found something else in town I want to buy, if the other car sells before i sell mine I will end the auction and keep it. its not perfect but for a 50 yo car it is in great condition. every time I take it out people stop to stare and point, iv even had numerous people stop me and ask to take pictures.
