It is a 1978 Honda CB400T It is a 4 stroke, parallel twin, 400 c.c., 5-speed. This particular one was made in September of 1977. VIN: CB400T-4014158. It was sitting for a few years so the previous owner took the gas tank in and had it cleaned. The mechanic did it the old school way and literally cut the top of the tank away and then completely cleaned it out and re-welded it back together. Pretty cool stuff. It works. The bike does run and drive, that said, I am selling the bike as a parts bike because I never got a title for the bike. The pipes are nice with no pitting and the bike is all original. The bike is complete with the original air box, air filter and snorkels just as it came when new. The seat is in excellent condition underneath and the chrome on the bike is good too. All that said, the bike is 39 years old and is un-restored and so please consider that you most likely will need to do a tune up on it and a full safety check before you ride it. I have ridden it down my street and the front brake needs fluid and needs bled but the gauges seemed to work and the lights did too when I rode it. That said, I cannot warranty the bike. I am selling it as a parts bike or for restoration. I do not have a title to the bike. I will provide you with a Notarized Bill of Sale. Thank you.
