1985 Honda CB-450SC Night hawk that I am helping a friend sell. This bike starts right up very easily and is an eye catcher. It has been painted Ford Blue ( grabber blue ) and it is not a perfect paint job but it is very presentable. It has new chain & sprockets, new air filter, new grips, new battery. The rear tire has approximately 70-75% tread left and the front tire has approximately 25-30% tread left. This bike is NOT NOS or a museum piece. It IS overall a nice little machine that would make a great commuter bike, daily rider, or weekend play bike. So, does it need anything?? Yes. It sat all winter without being started. This spring it would run only if the choke was partially opened. After dumping the old gas it will start, run and idle with the choke completely off BUT it is running ever so slightly rich and smokes a little bit. I believe after 1-2 tanks of fresh fuel have been run through it the problem will clear itself out. That being said you may want to take the carburetors apart and clean them thoroughly for optimum performance and reliability.Also it is due for a valve adjustment.
