New Page 2 SUZUKI 1996 INTRUDER 1400 VS1400GL 1400CC MOTORCYCLE READY TO RIDE - JUST SERVICED BARELY USED TIRES - LOW MILES - CLASSIC LOOKS, FORM AND FUNCTION CLEAR NEW YORK STATE TITLE IN HAND Up for your  consideration is a fine example 1996 Suzuki Intruder 1400 Cruiser.  Bike only has a just over 7,500 miles on it. I bought it from the second owner.  I have always liked these bikes because they look like  choppers. Just serviced with all fluids changed,  high-performance clutch springs, quality brake pads installed  front and rear, and a second newer battery is included but not yet installed,  -the battery in there now is still going strong. It is a really nice bike and a  excellent  running motor. *It looks black, when in fact it is a super dark metallic blue  with metallic wine accents on the tank! I  cant stress enough how ready this bike is to ride right now without needing  anything, ...you can buy it, insure it,  register it and come and slap your plate on it and ride home!  I will ship the extras later - we'll figure it out! It is a seriously powerful bike and has tons of torque: with 1400cc's on tap /or 83 cubic inches  displacement, it tears it up off the line and just keeps going! The Seat and back rest have no rips -they do show  very little signs of wear, but overall in great condition especially for a '96.The backrest is  not original, it is a slightly oversized replacement that works well. The bike rides perfectly fine and true. The engine on this bike is extremely clean. The  clutch and brake reservoirs on the handlebars have a little bit of corrosion on them  and there is a little flaking chrome here or there, and the inner shocks have some  light surface rust that might be able to be polished off. It has always been garaged. The tires  were also recently put on are in excellent condition. The exhaust sounds awesome, I think it has Cobra?  or Jardine? brand slip-ons but I am not certain. Includes a second/extra brand new  Avon Venom-X rear tire and inner tube which matches the front tire which is also  Avon Venom-X.  Includes original pegs and parts for standard controls location, ...the bike already has the much desired Italian  forward controls with relocated folding forward pegs by ACC: Accessories Custom Chopper, but if you wish to return the controls to their normal  mid position, those parts are included, although some additional parts may or may not be  needed to do this -I have added a picture of the parts included below. Everything works as it should; turn  signals, brake light, headlight and brights, the horn is a little low, but does work and bike passes inspection -the bike has a  current inspection sticker for New York good  until October 2016. The steering-stem lock key is also included, as are ignition  and gas tank cap keys Gas tank has "fuel", "off", or "reserve" valve and works as it should.  BIke has no leaks. There are two tiny dents that are on the rear fender that are located between the chrome frame tube and the sides of the passenger seat, they are hard to see and hard to  take a picture of and could possibly be pushed out. I can try again to get a picture of these,  ...contact me and I will try to get a clear picture of them if it is a major concern. I didn't notice them when I purchased the bike and almost forgot about them. You can kind of see the  one on the left which is about the size of a dime in the picture above the picture with the user manual below, the one on the right  is so slight and "shallow" it is very hard to see even close up. There are two RAM-BALL 1" balls installed on the handlebar mounts just in front of the gas tank to mount a  GPS, smart phone, or whatever. Both mirrors are brand new. There is a rear rack installed which is a Suzuki add-on part.  This model also came with two working keyed helmet locks; one on each side just tucked in behind the rear turn signal lights. Shaft drive means no chain  tightening, no belts to wear out, basically zero maintenance, twist the  throttle, hold-on and go!
