1969 Porsche 911T Euro Delivery This 1969 911T is a very solid project car, we pulled it out of a garage where it had been in storage for the better part of 30 years. The prior owner brought the car in to do some carburetor work in the early 80s. He started and never completed the project. The car is complete and generally solid, I can see some evidence of prior rust repair that while structurally solid, is not to the cosmetic standards that you would expect. These were just old cars 30 years ago and not the collectors items that we know them to be today. This car has some unusual features including Bosch H1 headlights, rear wiper, and was finished from the factory in the special order color of Metallic Blue. Early in its life this car was fitted with a factory replacement motor under warranty, the motor fitted ended up being an earlier aluminum case 2.0 Euro T motor. Both are the same spec and output but the Aluminum case motor is widely considered superior. Again, we have all of the paperwork from the factory documenting the warranty replacement. This is the only circumstance of Porsche fitting an earlier motor into a later (model year) car that I am aware of. Please keep in mind that this is a restoration project and has not run in many, many years. We had this car previously sold to a buyer in the United Kingdom who turned out to be a deadbeat, its now back on eBay. A local viewing is welcome and encouraged with appointment.
