Legendary bike and hard to find in this condition. These XR600R's are some of the most popular and most reliable off-road/dual sport machines of all time! It's hard to find anyone who has anything negative to say about them. I purchased this bike in good condition with a clear off road Illinois title. I wanted to convert an XR600 platform into a dual sport (On/Off-road) machine. I installed a Tusk street legal kit (lights, turn signals, license plate mount, and horn). Because I planned on taking this bike on long distance adventures, I wanted to make sure it ran perfectly so I took the motorcycle to a mechanic I trust at S&S and had them completely rebuild the engine and carburetor. The motorcycle now starts and runs like it was brand new. This bike is fast and very powerful! When I took the title into a secretary of state facility in Illinois, I discovered the law has changed and it is now more difficult to have an off road vehicle converted to street legal. An inspection is needed to show it is street legal and I don't have the time to invest in this process any longer. If you are planning on using this motorcycle on road make sure you check your local laws before bidding. I love a good road trip and I am willing to help with shipping.
