Vehicle Detail

Just back from the paint shop. The color is Blue My Mind and Laguna Blue in paint charts. This is a 2015 Corvette color and is metallic. This was a $5,000+ base coat, clear coat paint job. The paint job is stunning in the sunlight! All new rubber door and window moldings, plus window felts. People ask, why are you selling? I am 64 and I retired due to medical issues. I am selling my assets for retirement.Extremely straight original Idaho car. Only rust was in rear quarter panels and I bought brand new Goodmark RH and LH quarter panels from Summit Racing and had them installed. No rust anywhere on the car now. Grille and front bumper are off a 1975 model. In my opinion, they are much sharper looking. It has a NOS SS grille emblem, but it is not an SS. All the emblems and moldings were shaved for a smooth finish and look. Front and rear bumpers in excellent condition. All chrome and stainless in very good condition.Engine is a newer 87-95 center bolt valve style. It is a 350 cubic inch or 5.7 L. It was rebuilt about 2,000 miles ago. It has an MSD HEI distributor, Edelbrock intake and 1406 carb (elec choke), headers, dual exhaust and it has a very healthy cam. New Roush Racing cast aluminum finned valve cover (RETRO) Estimating it to have 350-400HP. Very throttle responsive. Has K&N air cleaner.Transmission was rebuilt at the same time and has a Stage 1 shift kit. It it the Turbo 350 3 speed. Shifts are firm, but not obnoxious. It has a 10 bolt posi rear end. Not sure of the ratio, but it cruises nicely at 65-75. Has PS and PB, but not an A/C car.Bed has high quality black spray in bed liner, so it is usable.Starts, runs, drives and handles exceptionally well. Power disc brakes in front and drums in rear. This is a fun driver that gets attention!Dash and carpet are new and are black. Original style loop pile molded carpet was installed over sound barrier/insulator material. Seat, headliner and door panels are medium blue. Has new Pioneer AM-FM-CD Aux stereo with 4 Pioneer speakers. Interior is in excellent condition.Replaced the stock idiot light dash with an SS dash from another 73 El Camino. The SS instrument cluster has all the gauges including tachometer. Also replaced the original steering wheel with an SS style (Grant) steering wheel. It has Western Mag wheels with new Dayton SR radials. 215/70R/14.New front windshield with built in antennae and blue tint at top.Original odometer shows 9,435 miles, but it has turned over.NADA shows the average retail for a 73 El Camino at $13,475 and high retail at 22,575. This car is in exceptional condition! I've got mine priced at AVERAGE RETAIL and this car is closer in condition to a high retail car. See it and drive it and you'll see what I mean. My reserve is $13,450 and I am firm. You are welcome to view, watch or place bids, but this car is not leaving Idaho for less that my price. It is in far above average condition and should be priced closer to high retail. Will not accept PayPal for full payment unless buyer pays 3% Pay Pal fees. Prefer payment by direct deposit. Okay to do satisfactory inspection of vehicle in person, prior to final payment. Will accept a refundable deposit to hold pending satisfactory inspection. If you have any questions, please call me 208-345-1400 Kurt. I will give you honest answers without any BS.NADA condition descriptions...Average Retail ValueThis vehicle would be in good condition overall. It could be an older restoration or a well-maintained original vehicle. Completely operable. The exterior paint, trim, and mechanics are presentable and serviceable inside and out. A '20-footer'. High Retail Value This vehicle would be in excellent condition overall. It could be a completely restored or an extremely well-maintained original vehicle showing very minimal wear. The exterior paint, trim, and mechanics are not in need of reconditioning. The interior would be in excellent condition. Note: This value does not represent a '100 Point' or '# 1' vehicle *. * '100 Point' or '# 1' vehicle is not driven. It would generally be in a museum or transported in an enclosed trailer to concours judging and car shows. This type of car would be stored in a climate-regulated facility.
