This is turn key street legal 1964 VW Roadster as listed on the clear Michigan title. I am listing for my 84 year young grandfather who owns, restored and still cruises this gorgeous head turning, fun to drive car. This is a Berry Mini T buggy with a 4 speed manual transmission that shifts well through all gears. The 1200 cc engine was rebuilt with new pistons, and bearings. Fiberglass and paint are in good condition with no cracks and solid floors. Interior and engine are clean. Tires have lots of life left. Brakes are good. Sounds and runs amazing. Hand crafted wood accents make this even more unique and definitely one of a kind. This is what happens when you have a Volkswagen motorsport enthusiast/hobbyist who is also a skilled wood craftsman/builder by trade. If you talk to him ask him about the VW Thing he had 30 years ago or the passenger motor coach he converted into an awesome RV. This is Michigan street legal with working directional signals, horn and mirrors but other states may or may not have the same requirements or regulations. Matching wood trailer is included. It was used to haul groceries and a tool box. Exact mileage is unknown. The car has been spending winters (and is currently) in Florida and can be viewed by appointment. This is an old VW that has been well maintained and babied but it is over 50 years old and may need more attention in the future. No issues presently but with any classic vehicle buyer should understand issues may appear and a familiarity with wrenches is helpful.
