This auction is for a 1970 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser. This wagon came from the factory with a 455. I belive this is the original engine, but I have not verified it I was told by the gentleman I purchased it from that the engine would turn, but I have not checked it out. I purchased this wagon for two reasons, one to save it from more time rotting away and the other to restore. Circumstamces have changed and I will not have the time needed to do the quality restoration this car derserves. Though the car does have some rust issues, it is overall in very good shape as far as that goes. The frame appears to just have surface rust. The floorboards are in over all good shape with the exception of the front passenger side and the 3rd row seat area in one spot. Both front fenders have some rust in the lower areas that is typical of these cars. The quarters appear to be ok except for some rust in the lower areas. The tailgate does have some rust but I believe it all to be repairable. The interior will need to be restored as this car sat idle for many years. There is delamination of the windows in the roof. All other glass is good with the exception of the front windshield. I am posting alot of pictuires so you will have good idea of the conditon of this wagon.
