Just bought this from an 80+ year old man who stopped driving due to terminal illness...he was starting to lightly hit the garage sides going in and out.All original paint (except a small portion of the left quarter) shines great,has some light impressions on right side and lower rear drivers door is dented from him starting to bump into things.I drove car home 40 miles at all speeds and its your typical 1994 -1996 LT1 caprice...just smooth and fast...The ride is sport typical firm,but Im sure all 4 shocks were put on this car when new and should be replaced.I only use Severe duty shocks ,theyre fairly inexpensive and make these B4Us ride and handle like new. The B4U sport package and V92 tow pac makes this car every bit as heavy duty as a 9C1 ...actually more.Has the quite rare for caprice,factory sungate reflective windshield.(have a slight redish tint to them) These are great cars as Im sure you know.Dark cherry metallic and gray inside makes it look very Impala ss ish. 106k is low on these cars and as such has no engine noises ,trans shifts as it should and ontime,no carrier bearing whine and runs great.Steering is dead on,from sitting,front rotors have a bit of pulse at high speeds.Pass key light is on.They do that when the pass key module dies. 4 Good matching Hankook mileage plusII tires,in the correct B4U size of 235/70R15.Good full size spare and all jack equipment.Her brakes feel fine,a bit of squeel from front pads,sometimes.Car sat unused in garage for the last 2 years.I checked the fluids,and she started instantly and I drove home with the a/c on,nice and cold.The abs light came on this morning....My scanner shows no stored code....I cleared it and it came back on in a few miles again showing no code...Most likely a wheel sensor,but I did not go into it further.Cruise will not work till this is corrected. So,some light bruises here and there,NOTHING heavy,some rust at the very bottom of the B pillars, left bottom of quarter just starting to show a bit of rust,passenger quarter perfect,underneath no leaks and not rusted at all.Still has paint on her frame NO scaly rust as these will do up here.One of the cleanest undercarriges Ive had on a B body.No battery tray rust,no front wheel well rust as is also so common.Dual Exhaust is original solid and quiet.If you need perfect theyre out there,but for a whole lot more money. I dont overprice what I have.Sold as is.Non refundable small deposit due right away,no later.Please be reasonable with your expectations,a good compound detail would do alot for removing some scuffs etc.Please be able to pick up and pay for within 3 days.If more time needed we need to agree on it before you buy.Not perfect,but this is alot of car for the money.Clear clean NJ title in hand.
