1991 S2 for sale. I bought this car in April 2015 from an individual in TN. I knew going into the purchase of the car that a few things needed attention. I have addressed a few, but a few items still need attention. The car has it's original paint and from 10 feet away looks quite good, but it does have a few scratches, as can be expected for a 25 year old car. The car runs very strong and has very good brakes. The seats have been recovered and look great, carpet is good, and no cracks in the dash or door panels.Top was new 3 years ago, and still in great condition, no leaks, no tears. Tires are ok, would get you by for awhile. Car has new exhaust and sounds good. New windshield installed 2 weeks ago by local Porsche dealer. Previous windshield cracked from flying rock. Excellent install. New windshield wipers, fresh oil and filter change. Power seats work properly as well as power top. Has top cover that snaps easily into place. Everything electrical works as it should except for the following: Power window switches work intermittently, these can be found on eBay for 10-20 dollars each. Clock does not work, turn signal idiot lights on dash don't work, burned out. AC was inspected by Porsche dealer and told , just needs to be charged. Heater works well. Headlights and all turn signal lights work properly. Overall, car has been a lot of fun to drive, have traveled through the Smoky Mountains many times. One reason for selling is after 5 years of bugging my neighbor to sell me his 65 Jaguar, he has agreed to do so and I don't have room for both. Please ask any questions. Car is also offered locally so I have the right to end listing if sold locally. A $500.00 non- refundable deposit is to be made within 24 hours at end of auction by paypal. Balance to made by cash upon picking up vehicle. Also 3000 miles ago the timing belt,timing belt tensioner and roller was replaced.
