This is likely the nicest 500 SL around. It is 100% original! The seats have not been re-dyed, the paint is bright and shiny and everything works exactly like it should. It has both tops and the soft top is brand new as well as ALL of the cylinders. The hard top is perfect and the headliner was just replaced. This car is ready to enjoy. Here is the history. I bought this car from the original owner, who was a friend of mine and has since passed in 2003 and sold it to another friends Mother. She is now 89 years old and not driving. I bought the car back from her in December of 2015 and we put it on the lot and sold it. The buyer took the car on a 7000 mile trip and loved it. Last month his Father passed away and he inherited a newer Mercedes so we bought it back and here it is. It is an exceptional car. We have been at the same location for 38 years.
