1953 GMC Suburban We’re selling this ol' black beauty that will make a great project for someone who’s dreamed of owning this model. We’ve had it for about 5 years and it was our son’s project, but he moved out of state. Registration is current. We also have the original plates. From what we can see, there is surface rust. The body is straight with no noticeable dents. We walked around with a magnet and the only place it didn't stick is behind the driver's side front fender. (indicated in one of the photos in Photo Bucket). By the way - the care does run - see video. You'll receive the original owner's manual, the old dashboard parts and new dashboard parts. You'll receive the complete original radio with a book on the radio. All the gauges work. Wiper motor works, but its not connected to the blades. There is new glass on the side windows. All other glass is original. It seems that all door hardware and inside trim is there. Hood latches properly. Back door latches properly. Electrical system has been converted to an alternator. New clutch. All gears work. Brakes work fine. Radiator had a new core put in last year. Lights work. The speedometer isn't installed into the dash yet because its missing the Runtz resistor on the back of the fuel gauge, which is needed for it to work properly with a 12 Volt system.
