The MG is available due to the fact that Peter aka zenithpluto123 decided to sport bid and never pay for the item. He has been reported to ebay and here we are. Quite frustrating to say the least for all of the good ebay members that someone like this who apparently has nothing better to do with their life - can bid, screw up a transaction, ultimately create a bunch of hoops for sellers to jump through and really have no consequences. Hopefully ebay will hold members more accountable for their actions as they effect other legitimate buyers as well as the sellers. This is a great community and let's all work together to keep it moving in the right direction. This amazing 1957 MG A 1500 Roadster fresh garage / barn find has had the same owner for the past 52 years. Previous owner purchased the car back in 1964. Very solid sports car which still retains the original numbers matching born in engine. Excellent running and driving MG-A with recent service of the brake system and new clutch. Get in this beauty, hit the open road and have some fun. Everything is in good operating order. Items that need attention would be some exhaust work, heater core currently removed and the tires are showing signs of age with dry rot. Body and chassis are in excellent condition, great gap, fit and function, paint finish is older, looks just as good in person and only until closer more critical inspection does one notice some of the blemishes and character marks acquired over the past few decades.. Seats are fitted with black leather upholstery, also includes a black soft top, black tonneau cover, side curtains and fifth wire wheel for a spare. The engine is a 1,489 CC OHV 4-Cylinder rated at 72hp, 4-Speed Manual Gearbox, Twin SU Carbs, Hydraulic Brakes, Independent Wishbone Front Suspension with Coil Springs and a Solid Rear Axle. This car is a perfect candidate to enjoy as-is, make minor upgrades or perform a concours restoration. This amazing MG-A won't stick around at this price.
