You are bidding on: 1997 Honda CB250 Nighthawk (black) with less than 16,000 miles. I have been the owner since 11/25/14. I have done the following to the bike: *removed the rear baffles in the tailpipes to relieve some of the back pressure and give the bike a larger than life sound (not loud)*replaced the stator (even though it did not need it) and have the old working stator to give you as a spare part*replaced the ECM (electronic control module)*had the carburetor professionally cleaned once*replaced the pitcock valve under the gas tank*replaced both the front and rear sprockets*replaced the chain with a super heavy duty high strength O-ring racing chain*replaced the stock headlight with a High Output aftermarket headlight perfect for night riding (original one will be yours also)*repaired the seat with black silicone to seal small cracks on the right side of the seat What the bikes needs: *new seals on the front forks*(if you desire) small bug shield to mount above the headlight to deflect bugs and wind (I wanted one but never bought one) The motorcycle is perfect to learning, for shorter people, and for lighter people. It will run at 55-60 mph all day. I have cruised on this bike at 65 mph on 231 to Panama City without any problems. It's perfect highway speed is 55 mph. One tank will take you 150 miles. I am 5'11" and weigh 252. I can ride it, but my legs feel a little too long for the foot rests, and my weight and size prevents a second rider to occupy me comfortably. I drove this bike back and forth to work every day for 1 1/2 years. It averaged 65 miles per gallon. The only problem I had was the chain and I fixed that problem by finally buying a heavy duty high strength O-ring chain which has been pre-stretched.
