Up for auction is my wife's beloved 1996 300ZX coupe. It is a Slicktop (no t-tops) 2 seater 5-speed manual car. She bought this car with her father, brand new in 1998 from Lokey Nissan in Clearwater Florida. It was in their showroom and never sold until my wife bought it. The car has been sparingly used and kept in the garage most of its life. It currently has 33019 miles on it but the mileage will increase slightly as I drive it on Sundays to keep the car happy and leak free. We are only selling the car to make room in the garage and hopefully find it a proper home in someone's collection. This Z car simply does not get used as it should. OK enough of the sob story, here are the details. Car is number 137 of final 300 production run. See dash badge. Car is black on the exterior with charcoal interior. Seats have been under cover since new and are immaculate. Cars has the Bose stereo system with dealer installed CD player. All works as it should. Engine is unmolested naturally aspirated with zero issues. Oil and filters changed annually. Tires were replaced with Falkens 2.5 years ago and have less than 3000 miles on them. Car is completely stock, minus some KN air filters. I have the originals in like new shape. Car has minor ding on passenger side just behind door and another on front left corner in front of wheel. Scratch on passenger door. appears to be in clear coat only. Driver side mirror has scuff on outer edge. Comes with two keys, one is original with working remote fob. Serigraph of the “one-stroke” design by Isao Sono that served as the inspiration for the 300ZX’s timeless design. It is printed on traditional Japanese rice paper, mounted in a 25” wide by 19” high Japanese black lacquer frame, and is one in a limited-edition series of 300.
