Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is the super rare and authentic 1966 Dodge Power Wagon W200 Camper Special. One of 2258 built...probably even less due to being a Camper Special model. Rescued this beast of a truck from the Arizona desert. This very special truck is basically a military truck for civilians. One of these recently sold at Barrett Jax for just over 21k. This original, unrestored 4x4 has so much character that if could tell stories, you could sell the rights. One of the stories from the original previous owner was that it towed a Prevost Bus that was broke down and stranded! This turquoise beast runs great and it's stout 318 starts up every time and sound like a vintage Charger or Challenger from back in the day. Has 3 has fuel tanks but only one currently being used. It's radiator has been totally gone through and runs cool. Tranny shifts smooth as well as the transfer case all works as it should. The brake system has been completely refurbished with everything new from seals to master cylinder and everything in between. The interior looks awesome and the only added was a new carpet kit. All of the glass is perfect and front and rear new gaskets have been installed. Brand new 8-lug white wagon wheel are wrapped in brand new 32" Mud Terrains. The exterior is pretty impressive considering its almost 50yrs old. The previous owner saved a few areas that we're showing a little rust but it appears that the welding of new metal stopped the cancer expansion many years ago, thus the reason for the few primered spots on the driver's side. These Power Wagons are a solid investment are beginning to show their worth over the traditional Sweptlines that we're more common (D-series). Pick this one up now at a new lower reserve before a soft restoration occurs which would include new paint as well as a higher price. Happy bidding **PLEASE REALIZE THAT THIS VEHICLE IS USED, THE BODY AND PAINT ARE NOT PERFECT AND HAS FLAWS. IT IS APPROX 50 YEARS OLD, IS NOT "PERFECT". I'M ONLY SAYING THIS TO PROTECT MYSELF FROM EXTREME PERFECTIONISTS. THIS VEHICLE IS BEING SOLD COMPLETELY AS IS WITH NO WARRANTY, ORAL, EXPRESS, WRITTEN, IMPLIED, OR OTHERWISE. THE SELLER SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CORRECT DESCRIPTION, AUTHENTICITY, OR DEFECTS HEREIN, AND MAKES NO WARRANTY IN CONNECTION THEREWITH AND TO HAVE SATISFIED HIMSELF OR HERSELF AS TO THE CONDITION AND VALUE AND TO BID BASED UPON THAT JUDGEMENT SOLELY. WINNING THE AUCTION MEANS THAT YOU HAVE ENTERED INTO A CONTRACT TO PAY FOR THE VEHICLE, AND DOES NOT ENTITLE THE WINNER TO COME BY FOR A POST AUCTION INSPECTION TO RENEGOTIATE AFTER ELIMINATING COMPETING BIDDERS. IF YOU WISH TO INSPECT THE VEHICLE, YOU MUST DO SO BEFORE AUCTION END. PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE THE END OF THE AUCTION TO ARRANGE FOR INSPECTION, THANKS.**
