Vehicle Detail
1989 Jeep Comanche 2WD Longbed 5sp in good overall condition. Pros: Exterior: There is no rust that I can find on the body, or on the frame etc. (See pictures of underside of doors and rocker panels showing only surface rust, no cancer or bubbling.) Everything works and is ready to use as a daily driver. Tailgate works as it should, bed is in good shape. All of the tires have a lot of tread left (roughly 3/16-1/4" as shown in picture). No cupping or uneven wear etc. Spare tire (like new) is mounted on a matching alloy rim, and includes the centercap (in the glovebox) in case one of the four mounted wheels get damaged, you've already got a completely matching spare. Interior: Overall is pretty clean. There are no rips or major stains in carpets. Seat has only one split in vinyl side, as shown in picture (not where you sit, but on the side of the seat). Windshield was replaced earlier this year (crack from a stone chips). All lights, horn, heater, work as they should. Engine runs, revs and idles smooth and strong. Transmission shifts smoothly in all gears and the clutch is still strong. Cons: Passenger's side window has a vertical scratch next to the divider bar from a mirror screw that was originally too long when the mirror was replaced (you can barely see it in the picture showing the door interior, but it does run top to bottom). There are a few minor dents here and there (one on the end of the bed, above the passengers taillight), and a very shallow one on the bed side, but generally what you'd expect for parking lot dings on a car of this vintage. I have not driven this truck much, as I decided to keep another vehicle instead (1955 Willys Wagon). The following parts are brand new: Both rear parking brake cables. Ignition switch Ignition key cylinder (keyed to match drivers door, not passengers). Air Cleaner Wiper Blades Radio- FM, Aux Input, USB Input and Bluetooth Comes with a big box of (brand new) spare parts too. I have a complete set of winter studded tires on OEM Jeep rims in excellent shape that can be included when you pick the truck up for another $100 if you want them. I can deliver it locally, contact me to discuss particulars. I can also be available during the day if you need to get it loaded on a transport truck. I would like it picked up within 10 days after the auction ends, however may be able to store longer if you contact me prior to the auction's end to discuss your needs. $100 deposit is required 2 days after the auction ends (unless you're picking it up in two days, then no need for a separate deposit). The rest of the payment should be made in cash or a cashier's check. Feel free to contact me to see the truck before the auction ends. I am available during the week and on weekends.
