This auction is for a 1974 Honda CB360 T (Twin) fully rebuilt, restored, and modified by The Powder Monkees in Chicago, IL. Our work has been featured on BikeExif, Silodrome, Cafe Racers of Instagram, Wind-Blown, Cycle World, and many others. This bike came to us completely stock, mechanically sound, and running, but in need of some serious love which quickly escalated into a full, top-down, custom rebuild. The engine was pulled, torn apart, honed, completely rebuilt and scrubbed by hand to a brush finish. The frame was stripped, detabbed, and chopped to accommodate the custom seat pan, rear hoop, and rear fender, then finished in fresh matte black powder coat. The stock air box, battery basket, and electrical rack were removed in order to clear out the rear triangle. A performance exhaust was fitted to the new engine, and a new modernized wiring harness was crafted with all modern electrical components and electronic ignition contained in a custom-fabricated under-seat tray. The carbs were taken apart, cleaned, rebuilt, and have been tuned and jetted for the new exhaust and pod filters. The dashboard has been reworked with minimalist black gauges and warning lights and the seat was hand-stitched in brown UV/water-proof leatherette. The tank was cleaned, sealed, relined, and finished in a midnight blue powder coat. The mileage on the odometer (less than 600) reflects the process of breaking-in the new, fully rebuilt engine and the manufacturer-recommended post-break-in service has been completed. eBay policy dictates we list this as a "used" motorcycle, however this is essentially a brand-new, modernized, vintage motorcycle ready for a new caring owner.
