1968 Ford Mustang V8 289 Shelby G.T. 500 Tribute Hello all, i'm listing my 1968 Ford Mustang, this will be listed for 5 days and at no reserve, i ask that you please read my full listing and view all photos before placing a bid, and please bid responsibly with full intentions on following through with the sale if you are to win the auction. This is an original "C Code" 68' Mustang and it was restored around 2 years ago and it was restored to pay tribute to the famous Shelby G.T. 500. The car was painted Raven Black, Red decal stripes were added along with a Shelby style hood, side scoops, a decklid with matching end caps, and Shelby style tail lights. The wheels that are on the car resemble the famous movie car "Eleanor" from the movie "Gone In Sixty Seconds", they are staggered, the fronts are 17x7 and the rear are 17x8, they are gorgeous and they really set the car apart from the others that are out there. The car is powered by what i believe to be its original V8 289 engine with an automatic transmisson which i also believe to be original to the car, also the car has factory power steering, i was told by the previous owner that the engine and transmisson were rebuilt around 7 years ago. I recently added lots of new parts to the car, some of the parts i added were new front and rear bumpers, outside door handles, a new mirror, a new pop top shelby style gas cap, a new billett grill with new grill moldings, and new cobra emblems. The interior in the car is in nice shape, the seats are in good condition, along with the headliner, dash pad, carpet, & center console, the car is missing a radio, i recently added a new Shelby style steering wheel, instrument bezel, dash components, door handles and window cranks, door sill plates, and kick panels.
