1983 GMC 3X3 CREW CAB DUALLY, 1 Ton 2WD PICK /UP, Banks Turbo Charged Diesel This Two Wheel Drive truck is a rare look into the past. This rare beauty has only 74,125 original miles on her. Yes that is correct 74,125 Original Miles. I am only the second owner. NO RUST EVER. When I picked her up back in 2008 she was parked on plastic and covered in blankets like a big baby. I have owned several of these trucks over the years however; this is by far the nicest. She starts, runs, and drives just like a brand new vehicle. The paint and paint scheme is original. This beast has all the pulling power you'll need with decent fuel economy thanks to the relatively new Banks Sidewinder Turbocharger. I was a diesel mechanic in the Army for over 12 years and primarily worked on the Cummins and GM 6.2 diesel engines. I outfitted the original 6.2 Diesel with a Banks Sidewinder Turbocharger kit. Installed just 3000 Miles ago. I bought the kit brand new and installed it. The kit came with a full exhaust, Pyrometer, and boost gauges. I paid $2800.00 for it. It really made a difference; it was like night and day for pulling, performance, and fuel economy. Including the Turbocharger I have over $20,000 in this beauty.I love the drive-train that's in it however; It is a perfect candidate for a Cummins Turbo Diesel is a quick and easy swap for someone who would rather have a Cummins in a sweet rust free truck... Everything works well including the AC, Cruise Control, and all gauges. The tires, brakes, shocks, and B&M Transmission Cooler, have only 5000 miles on them. In most states; a twenty five year old or older vehicle can register a vintage plate of the year of the vehicle. In Michigan the cost is $35.00 for as long as you own the vehicle.
