1983 Volkswagen GTI. 1.8 L motor. Runs well, cold blooded in the morning.. Runs, drives, stops, and shifts. Was told the motor was rebuilt 100k miles ago. Motor does show signs of "newer" gaskets. Odometer reads 285,000 miles, but has not worked since I've owned it (1.5 years). Car does run well, and I've used to to commute 90 miles each way without issues. Tires are in decent shape, original wheels, new wheel bearings and drivers side CV shaft, and plugs. I'm selling this thing for my little brother... He's saving up for a Nova :) It does need some work, it's a tinkermobile but it's fun, and will get you where you need to go. The exhaust once belonged to a Dodge Neon SRT4.
