Located in Mississippi, this police cruiser was purchased new by a small city in our neighboring state of Alabama, the government agency used it as a patrol and investigator car since new in 2008. The unit was recently replaced with a new one because of age, we purchased it directly from the agency along with some other items, not from a broker, dealer or auction. It cranks right up, will drive down the road but the transmission when cold is very slow going into forward/1st gear, most of the time even when warmed up you have to rev the engine a little before it will go into gear, once it goes into gear you have no problems, transmission shifts out fine and it goes into reverse fine just slow going into forward/1st, fluid is fine and smells fine, we have not attempted to service transmission, replace filter or anything like that, watch the video it shows the delay going into gear but then shows the rpm/speed while the car is taking off, engine is very peppy and transmission once in gear at first shifts great, brakes work properly, engine/transmission not leaking anything, running hot, burning excessive oil or anything. The car did sit idle not being used for about a year after it was replaced so we would suggest a good servicing, the car has some impressions and a little adhesive glue from where the police decals were, the body has several dings, dents and scratches around it, it has several spots where the paint is chipping off, has a few plugged holes in the roof and trunk where it once had a light bar and antenna, the tire sensor warning dash light is on and we are not going to deal with trying to figure that out - will be on when you come get the car, what you see is what you get, a good cheap dependable means of transportation! You buying the car to match the photos and videos of this listing, to be fully operational with a known transmission delay going into first gear, has a clean, clear transferable title, otherwise as-is where-is!
