1966 FORD MUSTANG GT FASTBACK K-CODE 289 V8 / 271hp HiPO WITH 4-SPEED TRANSMISSION ORIGINAL NUMBER'S MATCHING GT FASTBACK K-CODE VIN: 6F09K271726 STARTS RIGHT UP AND RUNS WELL OWNED BY THE SAME OWNER SINCE 1975 AND WAS LAST PLATED IN THE MID 80'S. ____________________ ORIGINAL MATCHING NUMBERS ENGINE, HEADS, INTAKE, CARB, TRANSMISSION, AND REAR. DISC BRAKES4-SPEED TOP LOADER TRANSMISSION 9-INCH REAR-ENDDUAL EXHAUST____________________ AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE HOOD AND SIDE SCOOPS, THE PREVIOUS OWNER STARTED TO MAKE A GT350 CLONE OUT OF IT BUT NEVER COMPLETED THE PROJECT. THE CAR WAS ORIGINALLY BLUE. HE ALSO SWITCHED OUT THE ORIGINAL TWO-TONE BLUE PONY INTERIOR FOR THE 70'S VIBE YOU SEE IN THE PICS. THE DASH IS STILL BLUE. THE PLASTIC SIDES/SAIL PANELS IN THE BACK SEAT LOOK TO HAVE BEEN SPRAYED BLACK BUT SOME OF THE ORIGINAL BLUE IS STILL VISIBLE. THE SEAT CUSHIONS AND SPRINGS UNDERNEATH THE SEATCOVERS ARE FIRM. IT WILL NEED FLOORS, TRUNK PAN, TORQUE BOX REPAIR, AND REAR RAILS DOOR TAG WENT MISSING WHEN PAINT WORK WAS DONE YEARS AGO THE CAR WILL NEED TO BE RESTORED BUTS ITS A REAL DEAL GT FASTBACK K-CODE SO VERY WORTHY OF A RESTORATION.
