Hello all, i am listing my 1979 Volkswagen Westfalia, this westy is being offered for sale for the first time since new, it has had only 1 owner its entire life, the bus is in nice overall condition. The original owner to this bus purchased it new from santa monica volkswagen here in southern california and took very good care of it. I have lots of documents, original manuals with the original binder, and believe it or not this bus still has its original california blue licence plates with the original santa monica volkswagen plate frame. The bus has its original 1600 CC engine with 125,000 original miles, i have lots of documents to prove this dating from 1979 till today, i will include all the documents i have in the sale and i have taken some pictures for you to view. The transmisson is its original 4 speed manual that is in good working order. The body and paint on this bus is in good shape, it does show some age but overall it looks nice. The interior is all original, the chairs carpets wood canvas sink stove refrigerator and heater are all the originals from 1979, the interior is in great overall shape for its age, the driver chair does have a small tear and the canvas does have a few patches (we chose not to change it because it was original to the bus) This is a very solid bus, the floors are in great shape, the engine compartment is in great shape, the only rust there is, is around the front windshield (which is just surface, it has not gone through) This is an all original, 1 owner, very solid, southern california westfalia, it is not very easy to find westys in this shape anymore, i have a low reserve on this westy, if you would like to make me an offer or have any questions feel free to give me a call (310) 272-0256 Terms of bidding Please bid responsibily and please be sure that when you bid you have the finances ready and in order to make this purchase Full payment will be due within 3 days of auction ending, bank wire or cash in person will only be accepted, no checks or paypal All inspections are welcome while the auction is running, once the auction does end a $500 non refundable deposit must be made before any further inspections, that will be non refundable to cover relisting fees and time lost if you decide not to purchase the vehicle for whatever reason, so preferrably i would like you to inspect or send an inspector before bidding, under no circumstances will i change this, this is just for my protection as i lose time and money if you win this auction and dont pay I have explained all of my knowledge of this vehicle and i am selling this vehicle in as is condition The buyer is responsible for shipping costs Please call me with any questions, thanks!
