Beautiful 1978 Triumph 750 Bonneville for sale. I have been selling off my entire collection of classic motorcycles for over five years. This was always one of my favorites, but now it's on the auction block. It has a beautiful base coat clear coat paint job, with some very professional pin striping under the clear coat. The frame was also painted blue. This is a matching numbers bike, with the same VIN numbers on the frame, engine, and clear Ohio title. The engine has never been apart that I can tell. It only has 9686 original miles on it. Besides the paint, this bike is all original. This is a T140 model. It may need a battery, as it has sat in my shop without being started for about five years. I owned over 100 motorcycles, so I just never had the chance to get it out. I did put the charger on it last month, and it fired up without much effort. I did notice one carb was leaking gas after I shut it off. You may need to check the floats in the carb bowls, but that's all it can possibly be. It always ran great, shifts great (5 speed), and rides great. The tires were replaced with expensive Dunlops right before I put it up for storage, and are still like new. The chrome rims are still nice, as is all the chrome. There is a small rip in the original seat (see pictures), and it has always been missing the chain guard. Also it does not have original mufflers, but the ones on it sound great. They do have baffels, but are rather loud. I am not asking top price for any of my bikes. I just need to sell most of them as I'm now in my 60s, and can't take them with me. I do NOT use paypal. I accept payment by cash, certified bank check, or bank to bank wire transfer. I will need a $500 deposit within 3 days of end of auction, and balance paid within 7 days. I can have the bike shipped anywhere in the world. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. If you are in the United States, I can have it delivered to your door very reasonably, probably less than you can drive to pick it up. Either way, it must be paid in full within 7 days.
