Up for bid is a 70 Challenger R/T 383/727. The car needs a complete restoration but is a good solid start for someone. The frame rails are solid with no rust, the floors have some pin holes but no major rust through areas, the trunk pan has been replaced already. The lower quarters need to be replaced but the rest of the panels over the wheel wells and rocker areas are solid. Someone at some point decided the car needed a sunroof so there is a hole in the roof that someone started to patch. It can be fixed fairly easy or AMD makes a new roof skin. The car originally had avinyl top. All of the body numbers match and the fender tag is there. No build sheet though. It was originally Red with a white longitudinal stripe. The majority of the parts are there, all the door glass is there along with the mechanisms, back glass is good and the windshield is brand new. The front fenders and hood are also brand new. Dash frame and all the seat frames are included along with the door panels and console. All of the metal interior window trim is there as well. Included in the auction is a near mint 70 only dash pad that only has one small slit in it by the speaker hole from someone cutting it out to put a bigger speaker in. Clear title in hand.
