Selling this "Holy Grail" from 1965.  I really thought it would be great to own another "Fuel Injection" coupe but alas, life throws a few curve balls when you don't expect it too.  I thought I'd never marry again but she said, "yes" so, now, I have a wedding to pay for.  Being her first and my, well, I'd rather not say but think of Ross from "Friend's" and you will know.  Now, down to business.  This is a RARE, 1965 Fuel Injected Corvette.  It is an early car.  Built in September of 1964.  The numbers on the block are, S101384 and F0908HN(see photo) of block.  Yes, you saw that right, It is the correct suffix for "fuel injection" with transistor ignition.  Block is date coded I34, September 3, 1964.  At first, the previous owner of 22 years believed someone had changed out the distributor.  However, upon, closer inspection, he was amazed that his Corvette not only was rare in the fact that it was fuel injected but contained the even more rare transistor ignition.  This Corvette left the factory painted F-F, Nassau Blue.  However, at one point in time, someone wanted a "little red Corvette" as the song goes and decided upon a color change.  This was not your typical, cheap job.  It was a trim off, glass out job.  Although the paint is over 20 years years young, it still shines and gleams nicely.  I would characterize this Corvette as a solid driver.  It does not need much to be a show car.  That is why I bought it.  The transmission, although a Muncie M20 is not the original date coded transmission.  The rear end is correct and date coded to the car, AM9364.  The trailing arms and u-joints have been rebuilt.  The fuel injection unit was rebuilt along with the motor.  It roars to life and drives down the road like a "BOSS".  I wish I could keep her but weddings, these days are not cheap, let alone the diamond ring.  So, suffice to day, I must part with the second coming of my dream for the woman of my dreams.  The chrome is nice, the motor compartment is nice too.  The telescopic wheel and power antennae but work great.  It rides on Uniroyal whiteside wall tires with repro knockoffs.  All it needs is a new owner that will love it to death.  The previous owner loved it for 22 years and I really thought that I could have the same opportunity.  If you have been searching for a fuel injected coupe, you know that these are not easy to find.  I looked everywhere, Hemmings, Old Car Trader, Corvette Trader and Dupont.  They are just now out there for sale.  Here is your chance to fullfill your dream or complete your collection.
