I'm selling my '83 Mustang GLX convertible. It's always been garaged and is completely rust free and clean. You'll never find an unrestored Fox Body Mustang as solid as this one for a price like this. The engine and tranny are in great shape. It's only got 82,000 miles on it. It's got a 4 speed manual transmission with a brand new clutch. The 5.0 has a few upgrades: An Edlebrock Performer intake with a Holly 600 carb, Crane cam and lifters, Mac headers and 2 1/2 inch H-Pipe dual exhaust. For a little more off-the-line kick it's got 3.73 Ford racing gears. It's never been restored so you'll see a few dings here and there, but overall it still looks great for being 32 years old. The top isn't in bad shape. It's got some scuffs and such, but no rips or tears. The interior needs a bit of attention to be perfect, it shows its age. With a minimal amount of effort you can have yourself a really nice show car or summer cruiser. If you're a purist and want to bring it back to stock it comes with the original intake and carb. You've really got to see it (and hear it) to really appreciate how nice this car is. Local pickup preferred, but if you live farther away and can arrange the shipping I'm ok with that too.
