Up for auction is a 1998 Nissan Pathfinder LE 4x4 4 door SUV. I have owned this SUV for the past 6 years and it has been in the family for 13 years and always has been reliable transportation. THE GOOD.......The exhaust system is 2 years old and in good shape and the battery is the same age also.The front disc pads are brand new.In addition the tires, engine, transmission, 4 wheel drive unit are all in good working order. THE BAD...........This SUV has been off the road since Nov. of 2014 due to a blown rear wheel cylinder. I have the new part, it just never got installed. Also the service engine soon light is on ( don't know why) THE UGLY........As you can see by the pictures, salt has done a number on the body. Also at some point the driver side ball joint will need to be replaced. Although the car has not been on the road, the engine has been started every 3 days and run for 10 minutes and also driven forward and back using the emergency brake. If you have a friend who is a mechanic or your are one, this SUV can be put back on the road and be good transportation. Remember, winter is coming, and these Pathfinder is a beast going through snow. The winning bidder will need to pick-up the SUV in Gloversville, New York and it does have a clear New York State title.
