This is a 1999 BMW 540i for sale at no reserve. I purchased this car from an auction and have since moved to a place with no garage which does not enable me to restore it as I had once planned. The vehicle does run, however it is important to know that the transmission has problems. It will not go forward, but will go into reverse. I have no idea if there is a simple solution to this or not... I honestly hasn't checked into it. The exterior has been re-painted black by a previous owner (budget paint job) The body and paint have dings,some dents, scratches, etc... There is a check engine light on and Air bag, traction lights, etc. The interior is also in need of re-upholstering due to many tears, cracks, stains, etc in the leather and carpeting. Left front window does not work. I don't know what the car truly needs as I haven't really dove into it and no longer have the space to do it.
