This is a relatively rare 2-cycle Saab for parts or restoration. It's been laid up since 1992 under a carport beside a disused chicken house. This was a passion project for me as a teenager. An Easter break-down when I was a student, and a decade of student debt stopped me from picking it up again. Even now, I'd love to have another crack at it... but I've move to London, UK. Impractical isn't the word. Please don't be confused by my UK-based eBay account. This vehicle is located near New Bloomfield, in central Pennsylvania. It's about 20 minutes drive from either I-81, or 35 minutes from I-83 So what's it like? Rough. The front shock towers had been patched. The floors had been patched (not well!) The sills had been done as well. However, the a-pillars bases are perforated. There's a fair amount of surface rust. The front of the hood is getting quite frilly. I had packed the engine with oil, but I can't promise the engine hasn't seized. The water pump is certainly seized up. The car won't roll. Its on the pavement, but has been there long enough to start sinking into paving. Tires are beyond salvation. Have a look through the photos, but really you should have a look in person.
